Data deletion
Last updated 10 August 2026.
What Centric/Core holds about you
Centric/Core is used by businesses to manage their own customer relationships. If you messaged one of those businesses on Facebook Messenger or Instagram, the message you sent, and the name or handle your account shows publicly, may be stored so that the business can read and answer you.
Asking for deletion through Facebook or Instagram
Remove Centric/Core from the business integrations list in your Facebook settings, and Meta sends us a deletion request automatically. We erase the content of the messages you sent, and the record linking them to your account, from every workspace that received them. You are shown a confirmation code, and this page will explain it if you return here with that code.
Asking us directly
Email [email protected] from the address you contacted the business on, or tell us the Facebook or Instagram account you used. We respond within 30 days, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What stays, and why
The business keeps its own record of the work it did: its own replies, its internal notes, and the fact that a conversation happened. We delete what is yours, not the business’s account of its own activity. Where a law requires a record to be kept, such as tax or complaints records, that record is retained for the period the law specifies and no longer.
If you are a Centric/Core customer
Disconnect a page at any time in Settings, Integrations, Mailboxes. To close a workspace and remove its data, contact [email protected].
